Ingersoll District Chamber of Commerce

**Any member can attend our AGM - free of charge**

We've reworked our schedule of events so that all members can attend the "meeting" part of our AGM (starting at 12:00pm on February 5, 2020) absolutely free.

If you'd like to stay for lunch & to hear our speaker, Angila Peters, you will need to buy a ticket ($30) to cover that cost. This way, everyone can stay informed and up-to-date on what's happening within the Chamber.

We Asked. You Answered. We Listened.

We're getting ready to start a whole new year with the Ingersoll District Chamber of Commerce.

At our AGM on February 5, 2020, we'll announce the new board members who will help take us into the new decade.

Chelsea, our new Member Services Coordinator, has also begun visits with our members - and we're getting lots of powerful feedback.

We wanted to start putting your words into action immediately - so here's how we're starting.

1. Any member can attend our AGM - free of charge.

We had a few members tell us they were frustrated that the AGM has a fee associated. This is the $30 fee that covers lunch for the members who attend.
We'll also be sharing our notes after the event, so even if you can't attend, you can be in the know!

2. FREE Events at the RIGHT time of day - and EDUCATION for business owners

We've had a year without a ton of networking, and with few free events. We want to start making a change, so we're starting with lunch and learns! Bring your own lunch and learn about the things affecting your business. Our first chat will be on in February and will cover Accounting for Small Businesses

We'll also be adding Breakfast and Learn with the same premise. Bring your breakfast and come and learn about the things affecting you. We hope to cover a wide variety of topics while hearing from experts in our local Chamber community!

3. Hiring & Human Resources

We're working on bringing you the tools you need to deal with HR & Human Resources. This was a major pain point for a number of the businesses we've spoken to. We're reaching out to community partners, but also working with HR Downloads to get a discounted rate for our Chamber businesses.
In order to negotiate a discount, we would need to know businesses who may be interested in an HR Downloads account (or who already have one but would make use of a Chamber discount!). Please reach out to memberservices@ingersollchamber.com if you'd be interested!

There are so many other great ideas, points and questions that have come from our one-on-ones with our members, and we hope to keep it going.

If you have not already met with Chelsea to talk about your business and how we can help support you in 2020, please contact her to set up an appointment.
We're in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or you can e-mail Chelsea at memberservices@ingersollchamber.com

Too busy? Out of town? Send Chelsea an e-mail and she'll send you an online-survey to fill out so you can still have your voice heard!

The Ingersoll DIstrict Chamber of Commerce presents Angila Peters, Real Lady Bosses of Oxford County, speaking at our Annual General Meeting!
